Cronum Studio

Terms of service

Last updated: 9 October 2026

These terms apply when you use Cronum Work (Tasks, Next and the other apps of Cronum Studio), their connectors for AI assistants, or this website. They are provided by Martin Andersen, self-employed, trading as Cronum Studio (“Cronum Studio”, “we”), tax ID (NIF) X3766667A, Juan de la Cierva 13A, 1º, 15008 A Coruña, Spain, hello@cronumstudio.com. By creating an account you accept them.

1. The service

Cronum Work is a set of apps sold together: Tasks, for lists and tasks; Next, which keeps the next step of every project; Notes, for notes and notebooks; and Projects, for plans with a Gantt chart. They can be used in the browser, installed as an app, and connected to AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), so that the assistant can read and change your data when you ask it to.

2. Your account

You need an account, and you must give accurate information and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens in your account, including what the assistants you connect do with your authorisation. You must be at least 16 years old. Tell us at once at hello@cronumstudio.com if you think someone has got into your account.

3. Your content

What you put in the apps is yours. You give us only the permission we need to store it, show it to you and to the people you share it with, and hand it to the assistants you connect, in order to provide the service. We don't use it for anything else, and we don't use it to train AI models. You can get a copy of it at any time.

4. AI assistants

When you connect an assistant you choose what it can do, and you can disconnect it at any time. Assistants can make mistakes: they may create, change or delete items you didn't mean to. Check what they do, especially when they delete or share. The assistant itself is provided by a third party (for example Anthropic or OpenAI) under its own terms; we are not responsible for how it behaves or for its availability.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use the service to break the law or anyone's rights; to store or share illegal, harmful or abusive content; to try to get into other people's accounts or data; to interfere with, overload or probe the service or its security; or to resell it without our permission. Automated use through assistants and the API is welcome within reasonable limits; we may slow down or block traffic that harms the service.

6. Plans and prices

There is a free plan and paid plans (Pro and Team), with the prices and limits shown in the pricing on this website. Prices include VAT; at checkout, the tax is the one that applies where you live. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time: cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for.

We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; a new price applies from your next renewal, and you can cancel before then. A founder price, when we offer one, stays the same for as long as your subscription stays active.

7. Payment through Paddle

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: when you buy a plan, you buy it from Paddle, which takes the payment, issues your invoice, handles taxes and deals with billing questions and refunds. The purchase is also governed by the Paddle buyer terms; these terms govern your use of the service.

8. Refunds and your right to withdraw

If a paid plan isn't right for you, you can get a full refund within 30 days of your first payment for it, for any reason, as the refund policy explains. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, this includes, and goes beyond, your legal right to withdraw within 14 days.

9. Open source

The code of the apps is open source under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0, and you can run your own copy. These terms cover the service we host; the licence covers the code.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running and your data safe, but we provide it “as is”, without a guarantee that it will always be available. We may improve, change or stop features. If we ever close the service, we will tell you at least 60 days in advance so you can export your data, and refund the part of any paid period you can no longer use.

11. Ending

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time, in Settings → Your data: it is deleted 30 days later, and until then signing in takes it back. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, telling you why, unless the law or the safety of others prevents it.

12. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage or lost profits, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can go to the courts there; otherwise, the courts of A Coruña (Spain) have jurisdiction. Before going to court, write to us: most problems can be solved by email.

14. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the apps or by email at least 30 days before the change applies. Questions: hello@cronumstudio.com.

15. Languages

These terms are published in English, Spanish, French, Italian and German. If the versions differ, the Spanish one prevails.
